With headquarters in Pittsburgh, Style & Steel also serves clients in New York City and the Caribbean.

From its inception in 2008 to present day, these core values have set Style & Steel apart; a commitment to innovation and style; professionalism; and going to great lengths to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Unlike other companies, we work with a core group of Associates and Vendors, which enables the unique needs of clients to be handled “in-house.” Our Associates and Preferred Vendors are distinguished by their expertise combined with years of experience in their respective fields, thereby ensuring that our clients receive the very best! We pride ourselves on our developing long term relationships with clients; planning a broad variety of events; and having a proven track record for successful and well executed events.

In the Community

Style & Steel's Founder and CEO, Wadria Taylor supports a variety of causes and organizations throughout the community and works to pass along her zeal for entrepreneurship to the next generation. Her community commitments include volunteering with Great Shape, Inc.’s 1000 Smiles Dental Project in Jamaica; working with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pittsburgh Young Professionals and serving on the Board of Directors for Working Diversity, Inc. She is a mentor to High School and College students and regularly speaks about entrepreneurship, leadership, goal setting and much more. She is a member of Women’s Small Business Association. Every year, Style & Steel produces a signature fundraiser "Glam for the Cure" to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

About our CEO

After being transplanted to Pittsburgh in 2002 from New York City to attend the University of Pittsburgh, Style & Steel's Founder and CEO Wadria Taylor, M.B.A. felt a strong urge to feed the City’s rising hunger for transformative and sophisticated events that engaged diverse tastes, attitudes, and cultures. In 2008, Taylor launched Style & Steel and choreographed a wide host of social and nightlife events that drew masses of event goers! Since then and over 100 events later, services have expanded to include Fundraisers, Weddings, and Special Functions in addition to Marketing and Promotions.

Prior to forming Style & Steel, Taylor worked with a variety of non-profit organizations and was Program Manager of Recruitment for Public Allies Pittsburgh, a Residential Development Consultant for East Liberty Development Inc. and Public Safety Task-force Coordinator for the Bloomfield Garfield Corporation.

Taylor received a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh Honors College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Carlow University.
