"New Pittsburgh Courier selects Style & Steel's CEO as one of their 2012 Fab 40"

Pittsburgh, PA: January 11, 2012- The New Pittsburgh Courier has chosen Style & Steel Event Planning's CEO and Founder,
Wadria Taylor as one of their 2012 Fab 40 Honorees. The Fab 40 are a select group of 40 African-Americans under the age of 40, who are recognized for making strides to uplift the Pittsburgh community.

At age 26, Ms. Taylor is a successful entrepreneur. She is the Founder and CEO of Style & Steel Event Planning, a Pittsburgh based company launched in 2008 that offers a broad range of event planning and marketing services to a diverse clientele of businesses, non-profits and organizations nationally. In 2010, the company was nominated for a Public Allies Rise Award. She is a champion of entrepreneurship and volunteers as a Business Coach and she also co-hosts a monthly Networking Lunch on behalf of the Women’s Small Business Association (WSBA). WSBA is a resource for women to connect, learn practical and professional strategies from nationally and locally recognized experts, and network with peers. Taylor also serves on the Board of Directors for Working Diversity Inc. where she works to help organization achieve its goals and initiatives. Working Diversity is the only nonprofit corporation in the Pittsburgh region that focuses on directly helping individuals and organizations create more diverse work environments. Additionally, she mentors and gives presentations to high school and college students throughout the Pittsburgh area about entrepreneurship, leadership and personal development, goal setting and achievement and more.

In honor of the 2012 Fab 40 Awardees, a special cocktail reception will be held in the Main Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel on Friday, February 24, 2012. Another way in which New Pittsburgh Courier will honor the "Fab 40" is by publishing a Special Commemorative section to showcase their accomplishments and contributions.
